We are currently in need of a Production Manager to provide support for food manufacturing operations in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time position requires a punctual, ambitious individual who possesses a natural talent for mechanics. The ideal candidate should have excellent management skills, a strong desire to learn, and a belief in listening, learning, and hard work. The Production Manager will manage a small production worker team, using a multi-head weigher machine and hand-packing operation. Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging would be considered a plus. Moreover, the perfect candidate should demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, aptitude for learning, and, most importantly, a desire to start or build on their career.

The Production Manager will work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings, nights, and/or weekends. The position offers competitive pay, medical coverage, 401K, and an opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Conducted equipment inspections and coordinated maintenance activities as needed.
• Overseeing daily production operations.
• Support production staff, provide training, and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• Punctual, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Ambitious and willing to contribute to operational growth.
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours based on production needs.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and additional relevant education or certifications are a plus.
• Able to work 2nd shift or weekends when needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in manufacturing with knowledge of food safety is preferred.
• Organizational and managerial skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
